City walk in Nordbyen
Lokation oplyses via mail

The northeastern part of Nykøbing was for centuries the city's old “infield”, where the townspeople could cultivate the land and let their cattle graze. From the end of the 19th century, residential quarters, nurseries, summer houses and allotments appeared in the green areas that were known as Thorsdal, Porshave, Fjordagre, Vejdermøllehøj and Skjelholm. Over time, the entire area from the park in the south to the epidemic beach in the north was developed. Join museum director Anders Have Espersen on an exciting spring city walk around the city's northern district and learn more about buildings, road names, people of the past and the history of the area.
