On the occasion that the local history exhibition about Nykøbing at Dueholm Kloster in 2025 gets a proper overhaul, we invite you to an exciting lecture on the history of Nykøbing from 1536 to the present day. We follow the market town and its life from the Reformation and through a myriad of fires, wars, occupations, industrialization, depopulation, development, life for better or worse to the city we know today.
The lecture features a sea of old photos and objects from the museum's exhibits.

About Museum Mors
Museum Mors is a state-recognized cultural history and geological museum with geographical responsibility for Morsø Municipality. The museum was founded in 1901 and moved in 1909 to Dueholm Kloster, where it still has its main address and administration. The old market town museum was expanded from the 1980s with several departments. In 2023, the museum consists of Dueholm Monastery, Morsø Local History Archive, Fossil and Moler Museum and Foundry Museum.
