One bends down and picks up a rock. With your pickaxe, you split the stone in half. And what then appears in the stone's interior? Yes, if you're lucky, the stone has been hiding a secret for 55 million years! Perhaps a petrification of an insect, a fish or a leaf from a tree will appear. Fossils are abundant in the pier tombs at Nordmors.
Take one of the museum's skilled guides down into the museum's very own pier pit, just a stone's throw from the Fossil and Moler Museum. Armed with the right tools, you join forces in search of the unique fossils that have been hiding in the underground for millions of years.
Do you find anything? Yes, then feel free to take it home!
